The Labor Day version of the Wadena Local has 5 cars and is rushing through Glyndon with nowhere to go, as its home terminal of Dilworth about 4 miles away has no room for it at the moment.

While on its way back home to the Dilworth (MN) yard, a 20-car Wadena Local stops in Perham to do some switching at the Barrel O'Fun Snack Foods plant located in town.
